Comprise (formerly known as MAPRagency) was tasked with designing a website for Visiwick, an app that provides parents, students and school administrators with a mobile platform to complement their existing online communication channels. Best of all, the platform uses sponsorship dollars to offset the cost of the app, allowing even cash-strapped schools to offer state-of-the-art mobile communication to their constituents. As a result, the “sale” can come from a potential sponsor, a teacher, a parent or a student, so the website needed to effectively speak to all these audiences.
We worked with Neon Rain Interactive to develop and design a site that was clean, concise and easy to navigate. Using best practices in web design, we branded the site to fit the Visiwick standards and to appeal to its users — no matter which user set it was. We chose a single-page website layout to keep users focused on the most important details about the app while allowing them to quickly and easily find the areas in which they were most interested.
Not only did the website help to launch the company and product, but it also continues to serve as an effective marketing tool to communicate the app’s features and benefits to the communities surrounding schools that use it.
