As a child of divorce, clear and concise communication has long been of significant value to me. Working in the communications industry has allowed me to understand better and implement the numerous ways we communicate and operate as a society.
I graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder, with a degree in Journalism, minoring in Sports Media with an emphasis on gender equality in sports. My crowning achievement during this time was completing my honors thesis, which investigated the effects of junior development programs in the American cycling industry and how different genders are affected. My work allowed me to create meaningful connections in my community, strengthening my character and teaching me how much I can achieve with hard work and practice.
Outside of work, I often spend time with my cat, bike throughout the Colorado Front Range, and spend time with my family outdoors.
