Director of Public Relations
I have been fortunate to travel a career path where I follow my passion for writing and storytelling. In 2008, I founded my own PR agency focused on traditional publicity and social media aimed to help musicians succeed in a highly saturated market. During that time, I worked with a variety of media outlets, media lists, press releases, musicians, management teams, and booking agents to expose my artists to a larger audience.
I am a tech junkie, even though old school print media holds a special place in my heart. I have worked for several print publications that allowed me to manage a large number of clients and projects at once. This experience along with my obsession for thorough research helped to sharpen my multi-tasking, writing, and communication skills.
I hold a B.A in Public Relations and Advertising from the University of Georgia. Since graduating, I have spent the last decade immersed in publicity, print media, social media, and digital marketing. I have the ability to develop national strategies and predict social media trends. However, building successful relationships with my clients has proven to be the most valuable and rewarding part of my career.
Outside of work I enjoy the mountains, yoga, seeing live music, dominating my fantasy football league, the Georgia Bulldogs, and most of all – raising my beautiful daughter.
