Bethany Osborn
Public Relations Manager
My career path has taken me through various industries, but I’ve always found myself working as a storyteller in some capacity. Whether through strategic communication or traditional journalism, I’m happiest when I can connect with people to share their stories or take something meant to be complicated and simplify it so it becomes accessible to those who need the information the most.
I have a bachelor’s and master’s degree in journalism and had the privilege of serving the Fort Collins, Colorado community as a local reporter covering growing communities and K-12 education. I covered major community issues like a possible book ban, rising water rates and environmental issues stemming from nearby oil and gas facilities.
As a journalist, I learned what a powerful force a person’s sense of community is, how people experience their way of life and what they’ll do to protect it. It’s the conflict at the root of every good story and it’s how we remember to tell stories that matter.
As a PR professional, I specialize in working with traditional media sources and being a resource for my team to help them communicate more effectively and secure major wins for our clients.
I am one of Colorado’s many transplants, hailing from the south, Arkansas to be specific (ask me about good BBQ and SEC basketball). Outside of work, you can find me exploring a new hiking trail, cooking dinner with my partner or pestering our cat, Cheddar.
