I have literally been surrounded by public relations my entire life. I learned the craft from my father, first by observing him in my youth as he worked in leadership PR roles with major corporations. Eventually, I was able to work with him side by side for 24 years at an agency he started more than 35 years ago. He has been a tremendous mentor, influencer and guidepost for me as I’ve grown into who I am today.

So, who am I? First and foremost, I am a storyteller at heart with a proven ability to translate organizational philosophies and objectives into key messages that resonate with critical audiences and influencers. With a track record of helping build and expand businesses and brands, I view my field of work as a craft and myself as an adaptable and skilled artisan. I am a collaborator and one who embraces a hands-on, “roll up the sleeves” approach to leadership and teamwork.

I am also a lifelong learner. This has afforded me an unabashed willingness to seek new and better ways to achieve success. Over the years I have developed a reputation for being a hardworking and thoughtful team-oriented professional who consistently finds ways to successfully accomplish tasks rather than assume things cannot be done.

I strive to live by the motto, “When are you going to have an opportunity to do this again?” and continually seek new adventures, often with a willingness at least try things that are foreign or new.

I am passionate about family, have an ear for music, love to travel and am a sports enthusiast. I am happily married and have two wonderful children who are growing up way too fast!
