Compriseagency places great importance on working with the local community. That’s why when Cindy Skalicky, the founder of On Point Communications, a Colorado-based consulting company, reached out to collaborate and tell the story of an extraordinary Colorado-based startup developing all-natural deodorants, we jumped at the opportunity!

In 2017, Distilled Bath and Body was founded in Fort Collins. The creators of the product were on to something when they used organic, overproof vodka and whiskey as vegan stink-fighters. To sweeten the deal, there are NO inactive ingredients in the alcohol-based Pit Liquor products, enhancing the overall function and feel of the deodorants. Pit Liquor also sustainably sources the ingredients used to scent their unique products, buying 100% of a local Colorado farm’s lavender crop, for example.

Flash forward to 2021, Pit Liquor hasn’t broken a sweat as they grow in sales each year. After Distilled Bath and Body teamed up with Cindy Skalicky, she introduced this PR opportunity to Comprise. The Comprise team got creative and utilized Help A Reporter Out (HARO) to pitch to writers looking for health, wellness, and beauty products to cover and even got the product featured in the Billboard Music Awards Swag Bags.

Thanks to this dynamic duo and HARO’s, Pit Liquor recently made an appearance in the American City Business Journals’ Colorado Inno and was also named the best natural spray deodorant in Healthline!
